Hey Guys, 👋

On to the newsletter now! 🎉
The Need for Networking.
Humans are social Animals; We work well in groups. If you want to find success in your Industry, you’ll have to build connections.
Build your presence.
Know more people.
Get more opportunities.
Today, I’ll breakdown A-Z of Networking to you! (And how it got me 16 Job Offers & $6000 in sales at 16 y/o)
Here’s what we’ll discuss:
How to Create a Persona?
How to Reach-out to people?
How to Solidify your Connections?
How to Leverage your Network?
Let’s Go!
Create a Persona
What comes to someone’s mind, when they hear ‘Aaditya_Alive‘?
That is the question I’ve been answering throughout my career.
The key to build a network, is to build a Persona (An identity). People won’t connect with you, unless you express your skills & interests well.
Here’s how I did it:
Identify your niche or Industry: Know what field you associate with professionally. Identify your skills and Business Model. A Sales guy doesn’t need to connect with someone in the Fish Industry. Know your guild.
Create Content: This is the only way you let people know what you’re good at. Show your expertise, share your learnings & offer insights. If you’re not on Twitter or LinkedIn, you’re missing out!
Find your sweet spot: Find the unique place in your industry that suits you. In my case, I’m a Ghostwriter for Web3 Projects. I’ve built a rare stack of skills that differentiate me. Differentiate yourself from the herd.
Now that your Persona’s ready, let’s move on…..
Reach out to People.
Before reaching out to people, you should know who to reach out to!
Here’s a 3 categories of people you should connect with:
Recruiters: Super important people. They’ve tons of opportunities. They can help find the perfect position for you.
Content Creators: Whoever is creating Content about your niche, has an influence. Connect with them. They’re the ones shaping Public Opinion, leverage that!
Founders: They are the Alpha Connections. Their Network extends to VCs & Angel Investors. They’ve ton of opportunities + Hunger to grow & learn.
A large chunk of building connections, is taking the first step of reaching out to people.
Drop in a DM.

Solidify Your Connections.
Now that people know you, it is time to strengthen these connections. Here are a few things you can try:
Have a call with 2-3 people every week: Talk about common interests. Understand what they’re working on. Tell them about yourself. Trust me, you’ll benefit a lot from this!
Offer Free Services: I always offer free Ghostwriting services to a few of my valuable connections. First - it builds trust & friendship. Second - if they like my service, they refer me to their friends. No harm in a few freebies.
Recommend Opportunities: I always go to prominent Job Boards & share links of Job Openings with my network. This shows that you care for them, and can help them find opportunities.
Now that you’ve solidified your Network, it’s time to leverage them. Here’s the fun part!
Leverage your Network.
Network == Net-worth.
Here’s how you can benefit from your Network:
Grow your Connections, through your connections: People know people. Your network branches into other networks. Ask people who is the most successful person they know, ask them to introduce you to them.
Grow your Content: Ask your network to like your Tweets, or comment on your LinkedIn posts. These are people that know you + can bring tons of engagement to your Social Media Content.
Sell Stuff: Might sound odd, but people usually buy stuff from their connections. Sell a service or digital product. If you’ve built a strong reputation, people will trust your skills.
Ask for favours: People love helping out others, especially if you have the potential of helping them back. Can’t figure something out, ask for help. Delegate stuff you can’t do, to people you know.
There are a whole bunch of more things you can do with your Network. We’ll stop here though :)
Thank You! Happy Week! 🙂
